What is the Career Direct assessment?

Career Direct is an advanced diagnostic tool developed in the US to support individuals in planning their career paths. Developed over more than 20 years, it has undergone rigorous validation testing, making it one of the most accurate and comprehensive career profiling tools on the market.

Career Compass helps you understand how your personality, interests, skills, and values can influence your career. By using it, you can be sure that you are making career decisions based on a comprehensive analysis of your aptitudes. With Career Direct, you don’t just choose a profession—you create a coherent and passionate career path that reflects your unique characteristics and needs.

Unlike many traditional tests, which focus primarily on analyzing an individual’s behavior, Career Direct examines four key areas that are fundamental to making informed career decisions:

  • Personality – identifies character traits and how you function in the workplace.
  • Interests – indicates areas that naturally attract the user and can become the foundation of a career.
  • Skills – identifies strengths and areas for further development.
  • Values – takes into account priorities and beliefs that are important in both personal and professional life.

The participant’s responses are analyzed by computer, and the results provide accurate information that supports career planning and professional decision-making.

Thanks to its holistic approach, Career Direct not only identifies professional aptitudes, but also helps match these aptitudes to appropriate development paths that will be consistent with the user’s natural talents and life goals.

How do I work with clients using Career Direct?

  1. Initial consultation – I conduct a telephone or online consultation via Teams, during which I present the details of the assessment, its process, and the terms of cooperation. I answer questions and provide information about costs and payment terms.
  2. Psychometric assessment – The client completes an online assessment, which takes about an hour. The assessment is designed to thoroughly examine personality, interests, skills, and values.
  3. Report preparation – After completing the test, I analyze the results and prepare preliminary recommendations for an educational or professional development path.
  4. Online meeting – We arrange an online meeting, which lasts 2 hours. During the meeting, I discuss the report in detail and work with the client to develop an educational or professional development path.
  5. Sharing reports – After the meeting, the client receives full reports from the platform and an additional report prepared by me as a professional development coach.
  6. Additional coaching sessions – If the client needs further support, I offer coaching sessions as part of their career change.
